There's no doubt that the rule based world order is is is over. We are no longer relying on a multilateral framework which is predictable and which is defining the rules of the game. But all of a sudden, because of the same country that has established it, we see the very same system crumbling altogether. We have lost all reference points. It's the law of the jungle and the European Union is positioning itself on that new landscape which is changing by the day and is certainly not our ballgame. That's not where the European Union feel comfortable about because the EU is based on a rule based order on its own. So in a way it has a lot of interest to defend it in order to preserve itself. It is a bad news because obviously the European Union represented a mini world. It was that particular space of peace. Everybody wanted to become the European Union and all of a sudden we are an outlier. We are an exception. We are those who are actually not playing by the new rules. So certainly is very existential for all of us. European leaders were caught by surprise by the return of Mr. Trump to the White House. They should have not because they have been knowing him for a for a long time. But but they are still trying to position themselves on what's next for them. And this provides a unique opportunity for the European Union because all of a sudden Europeans feel part of the same community and they expect their leaders to represent them, to protect them. And that's something that has never happened really before. So yes, the EU has to speak with one voice and not 27. The picture is unfolding every single day, but the union has to find the bandwidth to actually promote an alternative world order. At the moment we see diversification international trade agreements which have been on the making for 10, 15 years like with Mercosur or the one with Australia and in India are suddenly concluded. So we see the European Union following Mr. Carney advice of diversifying. If you are a middle power, you need to find alternative ways of keeping your trade flows and find alternative ways. So, I think this is a promising beginning for building a post-American world world order. The vast majority of Europeans, over 80% now expect the European Union to act to protect them and that's really unprecedented. So, they are very much entitled to ask their national leaders to set aside their national demand and special interest and rather think what we can create together starting by protecting Europe, having security and armed system that is actually well coordinated. We still don't have it, but also cutting all the dependencies that we've been building on social media, on clouds, on this digital infrastructure, but also on armaments and of course energy where 90% of the solar powers, meaning the renewables, are coming from China. And more broadly, we have to consider that becoming decarbonized is not only a favor for the planet and for the future generation, but is also the best tool to regain some form of freedom because obviously the European Union today is so much affected by all what's happening in the energy market because we are dependent. Not longer from Russia, but from the United States and the Middle East. And so, we are squeezed. All of this should be a lesson and I think citizens of Europe are looking at this and watching at this very closely.
