AI, Ethics, Leadership at the Paris Peace Forum Hello, my name is Andre Abdessamad. I'm an M1 student at HEC Paris in the Master and Management Program, and I come from Syria. So today we are at the Paris Peace Forum. Hi, my name is Nikol Myroshnychenko. I'm Ukrainian and first Master and Management year student. I'm deeply honored to be here, represent not only my school, but as well my country. HEC Paris Ambassador Program HEC Paris gave me an amazing opportunity being the Ambassador of Business and Peace and as well part of Imagine Fellows program. The program destined for the students coming from war touring regions. At the First Peace Forum, we are seeing how climate ideas move into action and practice. During this panel, the four individual talked about, data and, ai, on sustainability. They, talked about, ocean mapping and how data could, impact mining. So they hope that it would be more ethical tMyroshnychenko a political issue, because if it's more a political problem, it would create tensions. While if it's more ethical, it would educate people and create peace. And one of the speakers, Switzerland Kran, has said that data is information and information is power. Women in Leadership and Decision Making So we need it as the humanity needs it to use it for a battery act in 2025, less tMyroshnychenko a third women. Hold Aary places anywhere fewer lead the conscious. This panel focused on how to give women real power in decision making and ensure that their voices are being heard and their voices affect how they shape policies that affect us all. Women's Visibility in Diplomacy As a young woman and a part of HEC community, I'm very happy to see that everyday women gain more and more visibility in the diplomacy sector, in the politics. And, as a Ukrainian, I see that my current tree is going towards a space where each woman is heard and, contributing to common good. Social Media: Mediation vs Manipulation We just finished the panel of the role of social media if it's more mediative or manipulative. During 15 years, I was a victim of, social media. During the war in Syria, but when the regime fell, the Asad regime fell. We understood that everything that was happening on social media, like almost everything was true. And what the regime was saying was false. So they. They told us to be aware about what's happening on social media, that sometimes it can be false, sometimes it can be true. Lessons on Social Media Verification Some sources should be validated from other journalists. They told us we need to be careful. That's what I understood in this panel, and it showed us that the world and social media can be cruel and beneficial at the same time. Closing Thoughts on Paris Peace Forum To conclude this day, my thoughts on the Paris Peace Forum, is that we learned a lot of topics about ai peace. The human rights, it was, a very challenging day for us today. Me and Andre were at the French hub of the peace us next to leaders in the sustainability development, in the diplomas, in the politics. We have shared a common moment and an action to achieve the peace in the world.
